The ECAHLI movement inspires people to live and work differently. The Platform is how it gets built — a governed, staged architecture for designing, financing and operating integrated eco-communities across Africa and Latin America.
Each part of this is a claim we can point to something real for — not a pitch line.
Each node blends housing, agriculture, industry, hospitality and services, so no single income line carries the whole model.
Real land, real titles, real geography — not a concept awaiting a site.
Standardised governance, financial and technical templates so each new node gets faster and cheaper to deploy than the last.
Adapted to local land, culture and partners — while staying recognisably one model.
Residential, agricultural, industrial and social space planned as one system, not separate zones.
Multiple industries and services per node, blending revenue for resilience.
Energy, water and materials flows built to minimise extraction and maximise reuse.
Rooted in local governance and talent first; outside expertise and capital layered in, not imposed.
A standardised template, so the model is adapted rather than rebuilt from scratch at each site.
The 6-Node Program sequences deliberately — later nodes draw on lessons from earlier ones.
ECAHLI Foundation (a Dutch Stichting, currently in the process of registration), based in Asunción, Paraguay, sits above ECAHLI Global Holdings, which oversees Node Leadership and Community Self-Governance at each site. A Nairobi HQ is being established as the platform's dedicated Africa regional base. The Global Holdings Board currently holds three seats filled by founding directors, with four reserved for future institutional and strategic partners.

As the pipeline matures beyond the current active nodes, this structure is built to support programmatic, multi-site partnership rather than one project at a time.
Land, policy support, guarantees, and infrastructure co-investment.
Equity and debt into asset-backed communities, with clear risk disclosure and ESG alignment.
Anchor tenancy, processing, logistics or service operations inside a community.
Funding for a specific component — a clinic, a school, a training program — within a self-sustaining economic base.
Across the platform, ECAHLI tracks and intends to report on housing units delivered, jobs created, training and education slots, renewable energy capacity, and local food-system growth.
ECAHLI is progressively implementing the governance and reporting systems needed to align this data with partners' own ESG and impact frameworks. Figures are labelled as modelled or confirmed throughout this site, and updated as each node moves from development into operation — see the Projects & Pipeline table above for current status by node.
