Vision
"Build your future before it exists. See what others cannot yet see."
Vision is the ability to picture your future with such clarity and specificity that it becomes inevitable. It is not wishful thinking — it is strategic imagination backed by the work of the first two teachings. Once a teenager can name who they are and why they are here, Vision teaches them to construct the future that belongs to that person — in detail, in colour, in motion.

Courage
"The bridge between knowing and doing. Take action despite fear."
Courage is the teaching where everything changes — because this is where most people stop. Most people know what they need to do. Most people have enough clarity, enough vision, enough desire. What stops them is not lack of knowledge. It is fear. Courage does not remove the fear. It teaches you to move through it anyway — and in doing so, to discover that the version of you on the other side of fear is the version you were always meant to be.

Charisma
"The ability to inspire and influence. Lead yourself — and then others."
Charisma is widely misunderstood as a personality trait you either have or you don't. It is not. It is a learnable skill — the ability to inspire, to make others feel genuinely seen, to communicate a vision that others want to join. At COE, we teach Charisma not as performance but as service: the art of showing up fully for the people in front of you, and trusting that authenticity is more compelling than polish.

Sanctuary
"Create sacred space for growth, transformation, and deep work."
Sanctuary is the practice of protecting the environment in which you do your most important work — physically, mentally, emotionally. In a world that profits from your attention, building a Sanctuary is a radical act. This teaching gives teenagers permission — and tools — to say no to what diminishes them, and yes to the conditions that allow them to live and work and grow as their best selves.

Rhythm
"The sustainable pace of a purposeful life. Consistency over intensity."
Rhythm is the final teaching because it makes everything else last. Purpose without rhythm burns out. Vision without rhythm stays a vision. Courage without rhythm becomes recklessness. Rhythm is the teaching that turns transformation into a live — something you inhabit every day, not something you achieved once and then slowly lost. Small actions, repeated with intention, compound into extraordinary results over a lifetime.

The Voice Behind the Teachings

Why Izzy Kiver
Built This.

The system had programs for kids falling behind — nothing for the kid reaching upward with empty hands. Izzy Kiver was that kid. Fire inside him, no one to fan it.
Two things changed everything: a volunteer tutor who showed up three times a week, and a structured system that made effort visible. Neither told him what to become. They created conditions where he could not help but become more of who he already was.
His brother did not have that. He took his own live. It took Izzy a decade to process the grief and find his way to purpose. He started Covenant of Education so that the distance between lost and aimed would never be that far for anyone again.
The 7 Teachings are not theory. They are the system Izzy used on himself first — built from experience, tested across cohorts, refined through real transformation in real lives.

"I sit across from parents who can see brilliance in their children the way you can see a city from an airplane — clearly, completely, from a distance the child doesn't have.

Those parents are desperate. Because they can see it, and their child cannot, and no amount of love or money or tutoring has closed that gap.

These kids don't need to be fixed. They need to be shown. Shown the thing inside them that everyone else can see but they can't.
